HAY!

Well done. Your arty style certainly shone through the mostly monochrome world that you created for this music video. Cool direction, nice detail and camera movements. I don't often give Stick Figure Movies more than 5 out of 10, but I cannot deny that this IS a good music vid! :)

VirtualSting responds:

I know I've told you this before, but thank you SO much for all your help (and for putting up with my n00bedness ;-) ).
I'll be looking forward to your upcoming animations. Thanks for the review!

Woot!

Jolly good! It's about time a chicken-wearing American cultural icon hijacked an anthropomorphous critter's console game and went into crazy lala-land.

Not bad!

It was rumoured this movie had been stolen from me, but it hasn't been.
I can see why there might be confusion though! ^^

Crazy stuff. Crazy. And intriguing!

NotSafeForWork responds:

Thanks! But our respective animating styles are quite different once you get familiar with them, you sexy, sexy man you.
;)

D'oh!

That was... well, it was funny, whatever it was meant to be.

Yes.

THAT WAS SWELL!

I enjoyed The Last Unicorn quite a lot, so I was excited to see that there was a new one out! And it's more than I could have hoped for. :) Well done!!!

Where can I get that song from? I recognise the tune (but not the arrangement thereof) from a track called "Disco Accordion" that I happen to have, but your lyrics and arrangement make it so much greater. I want it for my playlist if it's not too much trouble... ^^

Wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka (< . . . .

A delicious balance of witty piss-takery and brilliant craftsmanship.

averageroadkill responds:

thanks alot :)

Good!

This is a really good story, but why did you use Neopets characters if you're not really into them? If you had used your own characters then you would have a lot more intellectual copyright owership with this great Flash, but because you used some other copyright characters, it's more of a work of fan-art... but you're not a fan. If you were using Neopets because they've been popular on Newgrounds lately, then I guess I can understand that move, but this was a really good storyline and it almost seemed a waste to use it on somebody else's characters, which may distract a lot of viewers from the actual message.
But I have no idea what Neopets are, so it was all new for me anyway. Good work old bean. Your animation style is quite detailed and engaging (and never lazy). :)

ReporterClock responds:

I never said I wans't a fan, what I said is that the point of this animation is not to display my taste in websites, because otherwise many people would have given it a low score becasue I used neopets, which are unpopular around the web.

and neopetshas not been popular around NG as far as I know.

Hahaha. :D

Well, I don't know if this is going to start a wave of crappy live-action movies in the portal, or if it's part of a trend that was already started recently, but I don't care. This was a funny idea and it made me laugh out loud, no matter how cheesy and lame the ghost looked. I was not expecting *that*.
Thanks for the laughs!

:D Poor Jimmy!

Fun stuff, a really good style, and nice voices. Could've done with some cheezy 1950's background music though. A fun movie for what it was! \o/ 4/5

(Correct the typo in the title, "Productions" not "Procuctions" ;) )

PenguinFlash responds:

lol. Thanks, man. I noticed the typo too but decided to leave it that way. Who knows? maybe some1 will get a kick out of it. This started with a comic strip I made, my friends loved it so I animated it. I've made other comics of it, maybe ill animate them too. As for the fifties music, I couldnt find it anywhere. If u no where i can get it, email me.

Andrew Kepple approves of this.

It's about time somebody made an animutation of this calibre!

I haven't seen anything like this since Chocolate Niblet Beans and those from the Neil Cicierega era of animuation. This one has my seal of approval, and should survive the harsh judges on Newgrounds, even in the Christmas period.

This is a good example, of which more people should take careful note.

Also, nice "Easter Eggs" hidden in there! Lots of fun clicking those heads!

Un-J responds:

let's you and me have an alan rickman christmas.

down by the sunny beaches of NZ.

I make lots of Flash animations and sometimes web comics and SOMEsometimes games. Enjoy!
