Andrew Kepple approves of this.

It's about time somebody made an animutation of this calibre!

I haven't seen anything like this since Chocolate Niblet Beans and those from the Neil Cicierega era of animuation. This one has my seal of approval, and should survive the harsh judges on Newgrounds, even in the Christmas period.

This is a good example, of which more people should take careful note.

Also, nice "Easter Eggs" hidden in there! Lots of fun clicking those heads!

let's you and me have an alan rickman christmas.

down by the sunny beaches of NZ.

You name dropper! :P (I'm still honoured though.)

Very fun-looking, well crafted graphics. The animation "shortcuts" obviously paid off in filesize, but the motion of everything in the movie was very nice to look at, so the occasional misaligned elbow was nothing major. ;) Some very accomplished animating there. It must've been heaps of fun to make.
The witty understatement throughout was very stylish, cheesy in places, but still the good sort of cheesy. Some great comic moments ("$59,000!"). The humour was sort of typical "daily 3-panel comic"-ish, but the length of the movie totally made up for this. I enjoyed it, unlike I would most daily 3-panel comics. Well done! :D
My only whinge is that the music seemed a little bit like it was holding back, during the intro credits mainly. I wanted to hear some lyrics there! Maybe next time?
Overall, and enjoyable piece of well-scripted nonsense that was long enough to have a scene-selection menu at the end, but still worth another complete Replay anyhow.
(Looks like I'm going to hafta try harder in my own animations if I want that $250, eh? OI OI OI!!!!)

Hooray!

Anything with Kabouter Plop music is a sure winner in my books, and your animation style owns all. Someday, all this *gestures to NewGrounds Portal* will be yours...

Bindi responds:

Daaaawww. ::snugs:: :D

And everybody say... Yaffa!

I thought that the advert at the start was all it was gonnabe, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a Flash movie that truly floats in mid-air. It's more than meets the eye. And it stores airplanes! Good work, and the animutational style gets you a 5/5 from me by default.

livingfruitvirus responds:

What sucks now is this movie is almost 2 years old, so it's quite dated and the Yaffa ads no longer run. :(

Good.

I'm so glad this was better than my piece of crap. Well done, but next time, get a real Aussie (or Kiwi) to do the voice of Steve. That faux-Aussie accent was painful. But I won't hold it against you. I'm sure you had subway for lunch.

TheOtherTruth responds:

Thank you for your review.

Unfortunately, it is hard to find any Australians here in the Midwest of the United States. However, it easy to find a subway! That sounds good, in fact.

I didn't think that yours was that bad myself. Because you put it on a loop, I just left it up on the computer all day for the kids to enjoy.

Thanks again for the review.

Dude, that was SLOW!!!!

The pauses between action are WAY too big! (What version of Flash are you using?) The slowness let down the movie a little, but I'll give ya a break coz it's an hilarious concept, with a really catchy title. ^_^

(I haven't actually finished watching it yet. The cat has just jumped out of Grandma's bag... but it's taking its sweet time...)

deemzies responds:

flash mx
i'll try and make it run smoother and replace this version...just 4 you ;)

I make lots of Flash animations and sometimes web comics and SOMEsometimes games. Enjoy!
